Who are we?

MicroShare’s mission statement and motto for years was and is “we are not all things to all clients but we are all things to our clients."

With a focus on customer satisfaction, below are some key dates and achievements of MicroShare:

• MicroShare opened in 1994 by Louis Droll, a local San Antonio resident who started providing network services to local small businesses
• By 1997, Microshare had expanded to include computer training for San Antonio businesses.
• MicroShare grew an established a loyal customer base of over 100 small to medium businesses in San Antonio by the year 2000
• MicroShare became a corporation in the year 2000
• In 2002, a new enterprise network security focus emerged
• MicroShare landed some key enterprise accounts in San Antonio like Time Warner and several local school districts in 2002
• 2004 - 2005, Microshare expanded their enterprise client base to Laredo landing key school districts and some Laredo businesses
• 2006, MicroShare expanded their enterprise client base to the Rio Grande valley area landing more large school districts and local businesses
• 2006, MicroShare expanded their enterprise client base to Corpus Christi landing two large enterprise accounts

Currently MicroShare has provided network security solutions to over 30 school districts, 2 Education Service Centers, and a multiple of large well known corporate clients.  It is estimated that over 200,000 workstations and servers are being protected by products implemented by MicroShare to date

Current primary customer base is located in San Antonio, Rio Grande Valley area, Laredo and Corpus Christi.
